Low Poly Tree

Personal Project
3DS Max for modeling
Photoshop for texturing

A low poly tree, with two textures (diffuse and opacity). Took a few tries to get the leaves right, as earlier attempts often resulted in leaves being too thick or sparse. Once I did figure it out, I decided to play with the texture to produce seasonal variations as well.

Scarlet Devil Mansion

Personal Project
3DS Max

A 3d model of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, home of Remilia Scarlet, a centuries old Vampire from a Japanese Indie Game named Touhou Project 6 – Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Lore on the actual Mansion is limited, but commonly known facts among fans are that it follows a Victorian motif, and has a clock tower.
The project was started as practice in modeling exteriors.

Assembled in Unreal Editor

For my final project as a New Media major, I was entitled to create anything I wanted, so long as it fell into the area of New Media. I decided to build a Deathmatch level in Unreal Editor. Over the course of 12 weeks, I planned the layout, built and textured over 100 different static meshes, and completed it with the addition of lighting and gameplay elements in the Unreal Engine.

The project as a whole was a magnificent success, and I achieved an ‘A’ for the course.
